In 2007 the Duke of Cumberland became licensed to hold marriages and civil partnerships in the Old Stables Bar, providing a central yet intimate venue for your ceremony.  We can provide the entire day's celebrations in one location and like to work intimately with the Bride & Groom to make their day individual and memorable.  Whilst we have a variety of menus to show you we like to produce personalised menus.

Following the ceremony drinks are offered in the Courtyard whilst the room is set for the wedding breakfast - a sit down formal for up to 60 guests, or more informal - Fork Buffet or maybe a Barbeque - for up to 90 guests.  After the meal the room will be rearranged ready for the evening party - advice on live music or DJ's is available - and a buffet for evening guests can also be provided.

The Old Stables Bar is separate from the main building and able to accommodate the ceremony, reception and party; with its own bar and cloakrooms you can be assured of exclusive use. The room has access for the disabled, and good natural lighting due to the large patio doors which open out onto the enclosed Courtyard which  can also be exclusive for an extra fee.

Whatever the scale of the big day the perfect menu can be provided and can cater for all tastes.  The team of highly trained and knowledgeable staff serve the finest cusine, both local and international, and the wine list featues quality house wines as well as a choice of vintages from all over the world.  The bar offers a wide selection of local and international beers and lagers and a good range of spirits as well as soft drinks.
